Patricia Reis - interviewed for the Signs out of Time project



Patricia Reis is a writer, artist, teacher, and psychotherapist. She is the author of Through the Goddess: A Woman's Way of Healing, dedicated to Marija Gimbutas; as well as Daughters of Saturn: From Father's Daughter to Creative Woman; and The Dreaming Way: Dreams and Art for Remembering and Recovery. She has a degree in depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and an MFA from UCLA where she was a student, friend, and colleague of Marija Gimbutas from 1979. She worked as an archaeological illustrator for Marija and many of her drawings are featured in Gimbutas' The Language of the Goddess. She currently lives with her partner, James Harrod, in Richmond, Maine.
